We've been taking it easy the past couple of days, trying to recover from these icky colds we've got, so I haven't taken any exciting pictures, sorry. I told Allison this morning that we'd just be hanging out around the house today, doing puzzles, painting, reading, and watching movies so we'd both feel better tomorrow when we leave for vacation. Daddy then came around the corner and asked, "So Allison, what are you and Mommy going to do today?" and she said, "We're just going to be hanging out." Too cute!
So here are a few pictures of her "hanging out". I love watching her concentration when she paints, and she's getting a little better at it every time. She's also watching her new favorite show (and mine!) called Super Why! It is SOOO good and is really helping her with her reading skills. I have no idea what time it's on since we tivo everything in our lives, but if you've never seen it and you have a toddler, you might want to check it out. We all need a break from Dora once in awhile, right? :)

Sorry you guys have been under the weather. Ellie too has a cold. I've never heard of Super Why but looked it up and I'm going to let the babysitter know about it. Can't wait for the BIG celebration tomorrow!

LeighAnna loves Super Why... But she calls it Super Wide! We saw it on PBS in Virginia but I think it's coming to Sprout. Have fun on vacation!
